Panhellenic Association of Pharmacists
The Panhellenic Association of Pharmacists (PEF) was founded on 11/12/1929 and operates as a labor and scientific union of pharmacists who do not have a license to operate a pharmacy, pharmaceutical warehouse, pharmaceutical industry, or drug agency (delegation).
P.E.F. has as a purpose:
- The recognition and assurance of the pharmacist's responsible position and responsible role in the pharmaceutical sector and society.
- The promotion, defense, and improvement of the professional, financial, scientific and social interests of its members in Greece and abroad.
- The organized presentation of her views on all matters related to the health sector but also to general matters.
- The joint action with other professional, trade union and scientific bodies in general that pursues the same or similar purposes to promote common goals.
- The continuous modernization of pharmaceutical education and the improvement of the scientific training of its members.
- The utilization of the country's pharmaceutical wealth-producing sources by developing the related National technology.
P.E.F. seeks to achieve its goals by:
- Joint efforts and actions of the Management Board, the General Assembly, and its members and in cooperation with other relevant bodies in Greece or abroad to achieve common goals as described above.
- The negotiation and conclusion of collective labor agreements as well as its participation in the administrative regulation of collective disputes.
- The organization, indicatively and not limited to actions, events, seminars, workshops, conferences, and trips for scientific, trade union and professional issues and in general with any action that promotes pharmaceutical science and consolidates the responsible position and role of the pharmacist in modern society in Greece and abroad.
- Any means of close communication between its members such as printed and electronic media, periodical publications (periodicals), correspondence, etc.
- Any other legal means.
